Gulf of Morbihan and Carnac in one day

Two of Brittany's most beautiful sites, less than 40 minutes apart: here's how we build this itinerary for our visiting clients.

Morning: the shores of the Gulf of Morbihan

Departure from Vannes in late morning, with a stop in Conleau then along the Gulf's viewpoints. Depending on the tide, a jetty allows a short crossing to one of the islands — to arrange with your chauffeur according to the day's schedule.

Midday: a lunch break facing the sea

We recommend stopping in one of the Gulf's harbours rather than in the centre of Vannes, for a quieter lunch before an afternoon devoted to Carnac. The chauffeur adjusts the pickup time to your pace, with no imposed schedule.

Afternoon: the megalithic alignments of Carnac

About thirty minutes' drive separates the Gulf from the Carnac alignments. Allow one to two hours on site depending on whether you simply want to walk alongside them or visit the interpretation centre. Return to Vannes or continue on to Quiberon, depending on your schedule.
